“Weave” is a presence. The manually crafted bullrush screens, faulty, variable, unique are framed by a precise natural oak frame.
The wood elements start as pillars, transform into screens and finish as a decorative board, closely resembling the traditional house eaves. It is modular, freestanding and foldable. It can be done in various finishes (natural, painted, brushed) but also in different types of wood essences.
Two beacons that transcends a mundane object and transforms a space into a place, with a focus on scale, thinness, and weight. The functional duality is a constant aspect: intention is in full effect once the scene is set and become of use. On the other hand, these seem like public art interventions.
